Cuisinox Elite 8 Inch Fry Basket Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I was at first taken aback by the price of this fry basket, but after comparing similar brands, including some generics that were made of questionable material, I decided on this one. It fits well with my Cajun Cookware Cast Iron Dutch Oven - 4.5 Qt., and hasn't showed any signs of rusting. My husband has "pannapped" this item as well as my dutch oven, so now I can't get him out of the kitchen!

Bialetti Fusion 9-Piece Cookware Set, Black Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We had heard good things about the Bialetti product...dishwasher safe, lightweight, teflon coating, good price...but the craftsmanship was substandard on what we received...even for the price. To start, handles were loose, efforts, even with power tools, to secure the handles did not work. The clincher though, when unpacking, 3/6 of the pans had inconsistent teflon coating and one pan was totally scratched up throughout the entire inside bottom. Initially thought that we had been sent used merchandise, but it appears in the assembly line that the inside bottoms were damaged. Two top edges of pans were poorly edged, rough, still sharp, appears there was a very defective run when these were made. Too bad...

Oxo Good Grips Candy/Deep Fry Thermometer Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I usually like Oxo products, but this one is a real loser. Not only does it not give accurate readings (which in itself should deem it useless, being that it is a THERMOMETER after all) but there are other features that further enhance its horrible design. First of all, the "handy" (so they claim) spin dial that allows you to set the temperature that you want to reach, is so flimsy that the slightest movement of the thermometer throws the dial off. Useless. Secondly, after only one handwashing, water seeped under the dial face which is impossible to get out. The water then turns to steam which fogs up the display so you can't even read its inaccurate readings. 2 weeks later there is STILL steam under the dial. Useless again. And to pour salt on my already stinging wound, I had emailed Oxo to inquire about how to return this item and get a refund weeks ago, but they have yet to respond to me, even though on the package it states that satisfaction is 100 percent guaranteed. Well, I am NOT a satisfied customer and if my second attempt to reach them proves fruitless once again, then I doubt I will ever purchase another Oxo product again, no matter how good they are. It pains me to even give this product one star, as a product that's utterly useless deserves no star at all. Oxo should be ashamed of themselves. Thanks for allowing me to vent my 2 cents.

Bayou Classic 16-Quart Cast Iron Dutch Oven with Dutch Oven Lid and Perforated Aluminum Basket Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We have been looking for a Dutch Oven this size for about 5 months. We really liked the Bayou Classic because the lid is actually functional. The reason we have not purchased before is the shipping was almost as much as the oven. Super Saver Shipping saved the day. Oven is of good quality, not quite like they used to make them in Grandma's day. We have been pleased so far.

Fox Run Egg/Pancake Rings Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I had been searching the stores for egg rings with no luck & was pleased to see a pair on Amazon so ordered them right away. I couldn't believe how FAST the shipping was, I ordered them on Saturday afternoon & had them by Monday! Wow. The wooden handles stay cool & the fold-up feature is great for storing in a drawer. The only thing I could say not favorable about them is that sometimes egg sticks in the joint where the handle fits into the ring, but that is minor. I use them every weekend.

KitchenAid Gourmet Reserved Covered Deep Skillet, 4 Qt. Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I haven't actually seen this item. I got it for gift for daughter in another state. I sent it to another relative to wrap & give to her at Christmas. She has KitchenAid cookware & needed a large red fry pan. They are not easy to find. I would rather have been able to get one with a handle that was not metal, but Kitchenaid is a good product.
