All-Clad Copper-Core Fry Pan Review

You cannot beat All-Clad in the quality department. After using this pan for a week my family even noticed how my cooking was tastier. This pan does a fantastic job caramelizing meat and veggies. It heats very quickly and evenly. But it also cools very rapidly because the copper is a fantastic conductor of heat and cold. I like the copper core better because of the ease of maintenance. Just a little Barkeeper's Friend and it shines like new. The handle stays cool enough in most applications for me to use it bare handed. The sides are sloped just right to impress your friends with a little food flipping action. I've used it on both electric and gas stoves and was happy with the even heating of both. If you can swing the price you won't regret it.

All-Clad Stainless 6-Quart Saute Pot with Lid Review

It would get a 5 except it's a little big for a standard size stove. I make it work and it is fine. Lay your pasta in without breaking and all underwater. Cook a large stew, or even brown up large amounts. It's a beauty and if you like large get it. And of course it is All Clad well worth the investment, made in USA.

A useful addition to any busy kitchen, this stainless-steel 6-quart saute pot comes in handy for sauteing onions and garlic, making lentil soup, boiling noodles, and much more. Measuring 12 inches in diameter by 20 inches long by 6 inches tall, its design includes a flat, wide base like a pan for enhanced frying and sauteing and for easier evaporation, yet it has the tall sides of a pot to keep ingredients neatly contained.
The bestseller among All-Clad's renowned cookware collections, the Stainless line provides serious and professional cooks all the virtues that make All-Clad's worldwide reputation unsurpassed. Its three-ply bonded design features a thick aluminum core sandwiched between an inside layer of 18/10 stainless steel and an outside layer of magnetic stainless steel, which work together to ensure fast heat-up times and even heat distribution along the base and up the sides. In addition, the cookware's 18/10 stainless-steel interior won't react with food, which means tomato-based sauces and other acidic foods won't taste metallic, and its magnetic stainless-steel exterior allows for use on induction (with the exception of a few pieces) as well as conventional gas or electric stovetops, including glass and ceramic.
The cookware's solid stainless-steel handle, which angles up and away from the vessel, stays cool to the touch and offers a comfortable, ergonomic grip, plus it comes riveted for safety and long-lasting strength. An opposite helper handle ensures safe transport from the sink to the stovetop. The versatile cookware can go safely in the oven up to 500 degrees F, and it comes with a stainless-steel handled lid that helps keep in heat, moisture, and nutrients. Made in the USA, the cookware cleans easily by hand (recommended) or in the dishwasher and carries a limited lifetime warranty.

All-Clad 6-Quart Fry Basket Review

All-Clad 6-Quart Fry Basket

This thing is super. It turns the 6 qt stockpot or tall sauté pot into a deep fryer, or extracts the carcass and/or veggies out of stock liquid without having to strain off the liquid into another container.
I love to make turkey or chicken soup with the carcass after most of the meat has been eaten, but there's usually some meat sticking to the bones that needs to be hand pulled after boiling. By using this basket with my tall 6 qt sauté pan, I can just lift it up with all the bones and vegetables inside and hang it on the edge of the pan via the basket's hook to let everything drain and cool. When the ingredients are cool enough to handle I can remove the remaining meat from the bones and throw out the rest. If I'm making a soup, I can add that meat right back to the stock along with some rice or noodles and chopped parsley and it's wonderful. Of course, I may want to do other things with the stock, but the fact remains that with this basket, getting the solids out of the liquid is a piece of cake.
If you're into deep-frying, of course, the basket is perfect for that, but I use it far more often for making stock or blanching something. This basket is worth its weight in gold. Highly recommended.
