(More customer reviews)I've used this funnel to pour a gallon of used fryer oil back into a container, and it works very well. The holes are small enough to catch unwanted solid matter, but does so a good deal faster than using cheesecloth. Much easier to clean up, too.
A couple of things about this funnel you can't tell from the product description and photos: 1) there is actually a very small indentation on the neck of the funnel which lets air escape to keep liquids flowing quickly, and 2) there are 2 spring-like prongs attached to the bottom of the strainer which hold the strainer firmly in place inside the funnel.
This is a great product, and worth the money to replace the awkward cheesecloth / mesh strainer / too small funnel setup I had hacked together before.
