(More customer reviews)I was looking forward to making potato birds nests, but I was unable to get anything out of the basket except a mess. I tried shredded potatoes, sliced potatoes, heating the basket in the oil first....nothing worked. I was SO disappointed, and the item didn't come with any instructions. There must be some kind of trick to it, but I don't know what it is. After all the frustration, I finally returned the item to Amazon for refund.
